Support Worker/Carers – Domiciliary Care and Supported Living
Hourly Rate: 11.51 – 17.50 (Live-In rate is available and we are flexible)
Location – Essex and Environments (Flexibility is paramount to us)

As a Domiciliary Care and Supported Living Support Worker, your duties are varied. You might support a person to go to college, the shops, among other activities as deemed fit. The duties may also include some support with personal care needs, as well as providing help to take part in a wide range of special interest activities that support our residents’ health & wellbeing such as arts and crafts, watching footie, drama, or shopping trips. Most importantly, you will be equipped and expected to promote person-centred care, promote privacy & dignity, and their independence. Full UK or International driver’s license is not necessary but may be of importance (desirable). Job / Person Specifications Support is tailored individually to the person to enable them to maintain positive lifestyles in their own home and local community. While most of our service users have been diagnosed with learning disabilities, Autism, mental/physical health needs, or even undiagnosed, the people we support are individuals and must be treated as individuals who have the right to everything other citizens have. Some will rely on you to get through the day, and others might not; it all depends on their needs. Building strong bonds with the people we support, their families, and our wider team, our Support Workers soon start feeling like one of the family. This busy position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
