It is an exciting time to join us at Dritewyse, and we hope you will be inspired by what we do and recognise our potential to do even more. As a Domiciliary Care and Supported Living Support Worker, your duties are varied. You might support a person to go to college, the shops, among other activities as deemed fit. The duties may also include some support with personal care needs, as well as providing help to take part in a wide range of special interest activities that support our residents’ health & wellbeing such as arts and crafts, watching footie, drama, or shopping trips. Building strong bonds with the people we support, their families, and our wider team, our Support Workers soon start feeling like one of the family. It’s a rare privilege and an opportunity to achieve your potential while helping others to reach theirs too. You’ll need a positive ‘can do’ approach and a flexible attitude to work. This busy position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The post holder should demonstrate values such as: Loving, Caring, Compassionate, Accountable, Improving, Respectful, and Open. What we can offer you A generous Employee Referral Scheme (refer a friend to join our team and earn up to £100) Length of service awards Excellent training and development opportunities Confidential, supportive Employee Assistance Programme, accessible 24/7 And many more. The role is ideal for someone who is either experienced or inexperienced in working in care. Learning and development training opportunities will be provided, including a recognised Care Certificate and support towards an industry-recognised qualification if desired. If you are inspired to apply, please do so by attaching your CV, documents, and filling all necessary forms.
