As a Systemic Family Psychotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of psychological and emotional issues within a family or systemic context. You will work closely with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to deliver personalized, evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide systemic therapy and psychotherapeutic support to individuals, families, and groups Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients and their family dynamics Develop and implement therapeutic treatment plans tailored to the needs of each family or individual Collaborate with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care Offer psychoeducation and guidance to families to improve communication and coping strategies Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records and documentation Provide support and supervision to junior staff and contribute to training initiatives Stay current with best practices and evidence-based therapeutic interventions in systemic therapy
Key Requirements: A recognized qualification in Systemic Family Psychotherapy (e.g., MSc, Doctorate, or equivalent) HCPC registration as a Systemic Family Psychotherapist (or equivalent professional body)
