Main duties of the job
As a Regional Peripatetic Senior Carer, you will be responsible for looking after the diverse needs of our residents, ensuring they receive quality, person-centred care and support. This will involve carrying out a range of clinical tasks, such as taking blood pressure, as well as leading and inspiring your colleagues. You will need to be flexible, as this role requires working across multiple homes, including days, nights, bank holidays, and weekends. With experience of providing care and support, ideally for older people, you'll know how to monitor and help plan each resident's care, including reviews and risk assessments. Dedicated and compassionate, you'll be a strong communicator and a confident team player who can lead others. We're looking for someone who always seeks out opportunities for further clinical or personal development, and you'll be happy to complete all regulatory and statutory training as well as complying with our own clinical policies and strategies. You'll also need to be comfortable with working some long shifts that could involve standing for extended periods of time.
