Reference : 20749 Band : C Salary : £27,000 - £34,821 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights. Our dynamic and creative journalists write and present our radio news bulletins with flair and authority. This role is an integral part of the editorial team, complying with all BBC editorial guidelines and practices and works across the output on a variety of shifts; early mornings, evenings and weekends. Main Responsibilities

Our presenter responsibilities include: Present BBC News NI’s radio bulletins in a manner which is timely, assured and engaging. Write and compile bulletins, working as part of a team to ensure all content is of the highest editorial standard. Report and present with accuracy and impartiality. Use a wide range of audio, video and digital equipment to research, edit and deliver content for radio in a creative way. Liaise closely with other team members and BBC News NI departments to ensure material is shared and best practice is upheld. Have an organised approach to work, and the ability to meet tight deadlines with a minimum of supervision. Are you the right candidate?

Our presenters have: A clear broadcasting voice with prior experience in live news broadcasting. Strong journalistic skills and a passion for news and current affairs. An in-depth knowledge of politics, current affairs, and ongoing issues within Northern Ireland & the rest of the UK, the Republic of Ireland and further afield. Good time management skills and an ability to perform to deadlines. An understanding of radio news bulletins’ role in an ever-expanding digital world. The ability to work well within a team, while also being able to work on one’s own initiative. About the BBC
