Primary School Caretaker - Full-Time, Long-Term Contract in Sheffield (S13)

This is no ordinary caretaking role - it's your opportunity to make a difference. Working split shifts from 6am-10am and 2pm-6pm, Monday to Friday, you'll ensure the school is a clean, secure, and positive place for pupils and staff alike. With a weekly pay rate of 505-555, this role comes with the potential to become permanent in July, offering stability and growth within the school community.
Your Role as a Primary School Caretaker:
Early Bird Tasks (6am-10am):
Open the school, perform security checks, and ensure classrooms and facilities are ready for the day ahead. Afternoon Duties (2pm-6pm):
Oversee maintenance tasks, manage minor repairs, and prepare the school for the next day. Keep grounds tidy, liaise with contractors, and ensure health and safety standards are met. Be a friendly face for staff, children, and parents, embodying the school's values. What We're Looking For: Experience in a caretaking, maintenance, or facilities role (preferably in a school setting). A proactive attitude and attention to detail. Basic maintenance skills - if you can fix a door hinge or replace a lightbulb, you're our person! Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one. Perks of the Role: Competitive weekly pay (505-555).
