We are a busy Technical Services Unit within the Pharmacy Department at York Hospital. Our aseptic services unit is a specialised service preparing bespoke chemotherapy, Monoclonal Antibodies as well as some Parenteral Nutrition products and a small range of other IV products. Suitable candidates would be required to work in a cleanroom environment where duties are interesting and varied. Duties range from cleaning, maintaining and monitoring of the cleanroom environment and equipment and stock management of drugs and consumables. Participate in the decontamination and disinfection of the aseptic unit. Undertake environmental monitoring duties to ensure that the environment remains in a controlled state. Perform administration tasks as well as stock management activities such as stock checks, receipt of stock, and expiry date checks. We are looking for a conscientious individual who will take a methodical approach to a task and who appreciates the importance of following procedures.
