Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to patients. This position requires a strong focus on patient care and adherence to pharmacy protocols, contributing to the overall health and wellbeing of our community. Responsibilities Accurately dispense prescription medications as per physician orders while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. Provide exceptional patient care by answering queries regarding medications, dosages, and administration. Collaborate with pharmacists to manage inventory levels, ensuring that all medications are stocked and stored correctly. Assist in the preparation of medication administration, including labelling and packaging prescriptions for patients. Maintain accurate records of medication dispensed and manage any discrepancies or issues that arise. Uphold cleanliness and organisation within the pharmacy environment, adhering to health and safety standards. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on pharmaceutical practices. Experience Previous experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser is highly desirable, with a solid understanding of pharmacy operations. Proven ability in patient care, demonstrating empathy and effective communication skills when interacting with patients. Familiarity with medication administration processes is advantageous, ensuring safe practices are followed at all times. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are essential for managing multiple tasks efficiently within a busy pharmacy setting. Job Types : Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay : £11.44-£13.50 per hour Additional pay : Bonus scheme Benefits : Employee discount On-site parking Schedule : Monday to Friday Experience : Pharmacy: 1 year (preferred) Work Location : In person
