Immediate About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled SHO General Surgeon to join our dynamic team on an ad-hoc locum basis across various hospitals in Northern Ireland. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain diverse surgical experience in different clinical settings while enjoying the flexibility of locum work. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality surgical care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and post-operative care. Assist in surgical procedures under the supervision of senior consultants. Participate in on-call rotations as required. Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best patient outcomes. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as relevant legislation and guidelines. Requirements: Medical degree and full GMC registration. Completion of Foundation Training (F1/F2) or equivalent. Previous experience in general surgery is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to cover various shifts, including weekends and nights.
