About the Role: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will have the rewarding opportunity to work both inside and outside of the classroom, supporting students in a Year 4 and 5 class. This is a split role where you will: Provide one-on-one support to a student with autism, helping them navigate their educational journey and reach their developmental goals. Support a small group of boys with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them build resilience, confidence, and academic progress. Collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and SENDCo, who will provide comprehensive support throughout your role. Work in a structured environment with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) in place for all students, ensuring you have guidance and strategies to effectively support their needs.

What We're Looking For: Experience:

Prior experience working with children, especially those with autism or SEMH needs, is beneficial but not required. Passion:

A genuine commitment to helping children overcome challenges and succeed in their learning journey. Flexibility:

Willingness to work both in the classroom and outdoors, as required by the role. Compliance:

Must have, or be willing to obtain, an enhanced Child-Only DBS check. Location:

Ideally, candidates will reside in or near Hackney, or have reliable transportation to commute to the area.
