Here at Aylsham Vets we are excited to be recruiting for a Student Veterinary Nurse to join our team.

We are looking for an individual who possesses great communication skills, is passionate about promoting exceptional animal care, and enjoys working in a team environment. We are also open to 2nd year students.

This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week. Training/college days will be in Dereham.

About the practice : Aylsham is a small practice with 3 fully qualified RVNs, providing a supportive environment for the successful candidate.

Experience and Qualifications needed:

Our ideal applicant will be reliable with a willingness to learn and to be able to work within a team. Previous experience in a veterinary environment is essential.

Five GCSEs at grade C and above (or equivalent), which must include English language, maths, and a science subject. OR an animal nursing assistant (ANA) or veterinary care assistant (VCA) qualification, along with functional skills level two in application of number and communication.

The salary for this position will be in line with National Minimum Wage.
