Hunter AHP About the Role: Hunter AHP is currently recruiting for an experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join a well-established NHS hospital in Yorkshire. This ongoing contract position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive pharmacy team, where you’ll have the chance to contribute to patient care and work within a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation, dispensing, and supply of medications. Help with stock management and inventory control within the pharmacy. Support senior pharmacy staff in clinical duties and administrative tasks. Ensure medication orders are processed and stored in accordance with NHS procedures. Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals. Assist in the maintenance of pharmacy records, ensuring compliance with regulations. Essential Requirements: NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent qualification). Previous experience working in a pharmacy setting, ideally within an NHS environment. Good understanding of pharmacy procedures and medication management. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
