Oversee all aspects of the operation of the home including staffing, compliance and health and safety. Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents and their family. Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and empowerment, ensuring that each resident is treated with compassion, empathy, and understanding. Conduct regular reviews of residents needs and develop comprehensive care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Keep abreast of developments in mental health care practices, legislation, and regulations, and ensure that the home operates in compliance with all relevant standards and guidelines. Requirements for the Registered Manager: NVQ Level 5 or Diploma in Health and Social Care Management Proven experience in a managerial role within a mental health care setting, with a strong understanding of the complexities and challenges associated with mental health conditions. Excellent leadership and communication skills Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices governing mental health care, including the Mental Health Act and CIW standards. A compassionate and person-centered approach to care. Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities. Experience with care management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
