About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a vibrant school environment in January 2025. This rewarding role is perfect for someone passionate about helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. You will work closely with teachers and other staff to provide targeted support for pupils, fostering both their academic and personal growth.
The successful candidate will: Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with diverse learning needs. Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and adapting resources as needed. Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging engagement and confidence. Collaborate with teachers and SEN staff to monitor and report on student progress. Support students both inside and outside the classroom to enhance their learning experience.
What We're Looking For: We are looking for a proactive and empathetic Learning Support Assistant with: Experience:
Previous experience working with children in a school setting or in a similar role. Skills:
Strong communication, patience, and adaptability in addressing a variety of learning needs. Attributes:
A caring and positive attitude, with a genuine passion for supporting students' development. Training:
Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable but not essential, as training is provided).
Eligibility Requirements: To be eligible for this role, candidates must: Hold the Right to Work in the UK. Have an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application. Provide two professional references related to working with children.
