Occupational Therapist
to work within our service, supporting the needs of individuals with a range of mental health conditions. Your role will consist of supporting patients using evidence-based and patient-centric principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions, which provide patients with the confidence, skills, and coping strategies required for independent living. You will also have input into designing, adapting, and implementing the therapeutic timetables on the wards, as well as conducting 1:1 assessments. We expect the applicant to have experience working with mental health (placement experience acceptable), and be qualified with a BSc Hons in Occupational Therapy in addition to being HCPC Registered. You will be working as part of an experienced occupational therapy team (Lead OT and 3 OTAs) and the wider team, comprised of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and support workers; having input into ward rounds and care planning.
