Practice Nurse - The Portchester Practice
We are seeking an enthusiastic Registered Practice Nurse to complement our existing team. The Portchester Practice is a forward-thinking, sociable and efficient team who aim to keep a balance between excellent clinical care and our lives outside medicine. The Practice: 11,150 patients (growing list size) 4 Practice Nurses, 3 HCA’s and 1 phlebotomist Excellent support from PCN and ARRS roles Outstanding admin and reception team support 3rd ranked GP Surgery in Hampshire as per recent NHS patient survey! We are seeking a nurse with General Practice nursing experience, including: Chronic disease management particularly asthma/COPD Wound management – dressing wounds and supporting healing through best practices. Immunisations and vaccinations Health promotion and lifestyle advice Infection control maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Team collaboration working closely with GPs, healthcare assistants, and other practice staff. Our Offer: Part/Full-time hours: 20 to 30 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours to cover colleague absence. There may be an opportunity for increased hours for the right candidate. Salary: £37,557 to £44,265 annually depending on hours, experience and skillset. Training and mentorship to upskill. Opportunity to develop leadership role for the right candidate.
