We have an exciting opportunity for a compassionate support worker to join our Inpatient team as a Care Support Worker. You will be a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, supporting the nursing staff in providing exemplary care to patients throughout their stay, from admission to discharge. This is a 37.5 hour per week post working 3 Shifts Monday – Sunday 07:30 – 20:00 or 19:30 – 08:15 on a rota basis. Role Responsibilities As a clinical support worker you will: Demonstrate good clinical practice at all times and be accountable for own actions. Monitor patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations, post surgery. Chaperone patients when required. Be willing to undertake phlebotomy when appropriately trained. Respect and ensure patient privacy and confidentiality. Who we’re looking for Experience working as a support worker in a clinical setting. A caring and compassionate attitude. An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or Care Certificate. Experience working in a hospital setting.
