We are looking for someone who:
Can form positive and caring relationships with all children and work effectively as a member of a strong team. Contributes to the ethos and wider community of the school. Demonstrates sound knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 curriculums and their assessment procedures. Possesses excellent subject knowledge of early phonics, reading, writing and numeracy. Demonstrates a passion for teaching and learning in the indoor and outdoor learning environments. Has knowledge and experience of working with children with SEND, including scaffolding learning for children with Special Educational Needs. Has experience of working with children who have complex communication and interaction needs. Understands young children’s communication and uses effective strategies to manage challenging behaviours calmly. Shows initiative and the ability to be spontaneous. Motivates our young children to be increasingly independent and confident as they learn and grow. Shares our commitment to continuing professional development.
