Community care-based feel, all under one roof!
You will be supporting the existing team within a purpose-built location where the elderly residents live within their own apartment and receive scheduled visits from the care team. The location also has communal areas to encourage interaction between the residents.
Job Details:
You will ensure that all care plans are followed to ensure that the service users receive the level of support appropriate to them and to better understand their individual likes and dislikes, tailoring your support accordingly. You will undertake personal care duties. You will prepare light meals for the residents as required. You will ensure the safe use of any moving and handling equipment required. You will always oversee the health and safety of the service users under your care. You may be required to undertake some basic cleaning duties, ensuring that all relevant cleaning rotas and safety procedures are followed.
Vacancy Requirements:
Full and up-to-date CV A minimum of 6 months care experience working within community or care home settings Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service Mandatory training certificates relevant to the role, dated within the past 12 months Shorter notice availability (24hrs notice) Strong communication skills
Hours:
06:00 to 14:00 14:00 to 22:00
The pay rate for this role is:
£11.44 per hour, with enhanced pay for unsociable hours
