Work with diverse schools across Southampton, gaining invaluable experience in different settings. As a

Flexible English Tutor , you’ll support students with their English studies at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 levels. You’ll work across multiple schools, providing targeted intervention on a 1:1 or small-group basis. Plan and deliver engaging English tuition tailored to individual student needs. Identify gaps in knowledge and create lessons to close these. Build positive relationships with students to foster a love of learning. Adapt your approach to suit each school’s environment and expectations. Minimum Requirements: A strong academic background in English (a degree or similar qualification preferred). Experience in teaching, tutoring, or working with young people (QTS is an advantage but not essential). A passion for education and helping students overcome challenges. Flexibility and willingness to work across various schools in the Southampton area. A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
