Veritas are currently working with one of our partner schools in Doncaster, to help them find a Speech and language therapist, where you well assess, plan and delivery therapy for students with communication barriers and language needs.

The role:

Help assess the pupils in the class to identify the pupil's speech language and communication needs. Develop and implement tailored plans in collaboration with the SEN staff. Provide 1:1 and small group support to students to help improve their communication skills Monitor and report and pupils progress, adjusting your plans and therapy to meet the students needs. Collaborate with the SENDCO and other teaching staff to ensure all the pupils needs are met seamlessly. Engage with parents and carers to provide guidance and training techniques they can use at home.Ideal Candidate

Qualified in speech and language therapy. Strong understanding of SEN and experience working with children in an educational environment. Flexible and committed to a student's wellbeing, Very strong communication and interpersonal skills Skilled in Makaton.Application Requirements

Clear Enhanced DBS Right to work in the UK. Photo identification. 2 Satisfactory references.
