What are we looking for: This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our friendly and supportive team. We are seeking a Level 2 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work within Early Years. Experience of working 1:1 with children who need social and emotional support would be an advantage. We are looking for a child-centred, motivated and enthusiastic individual who will support the Christian Ethos of our school, working alongside the class teachers to support children to achieve their full potential. You will have: Good interpersonal skills Positive and hard-working attitude Punctuality and reliability with a flexible working approach Ability to work as part of a team Your responsibilities will include: Supporting the class teacher within lessons. Supervising individual or groups of children at playtimes, interacting positively and supporting play. Delivering interventions for individual and groups of children. Under the direction of the class teacher, supporting specific lessons. You will enjoy working in a team, have a caring approach and a positive attitude to behaviour. You will be confident to follow school procedures and demonstrate a commitment to keeping children safe.
