37.5 Description of Duties

The Alcohol & Drug Service (ADS) is a registered charity that has been transforming the lives of people affected by drugs and alcohol misuse for over 40 years. Aspire

is a partnership between ADS and Rotherham, Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH). This partnership combines the strengths of NHS provision under the leadership of a consultant with the strengths of the voluntary sector provided by ADS. Together, they have provided Drug and Alcohol Services to local communities for over 20 years, focusing on innovative and responsive services that yield the best possible outcomes for service users. The community teams are a core element of the service, focusing on longer-term case management and improved outcomes for adults with substance-related issues. This includes a strong key working and care plan approach, alongside support for specialist prescribed interventions and harm reduction from our prescribing team, aimed at helping individuals lead fulfilling lives within their communities. If you are a qualified and registered Social Worker with experience or an interest in working with substance users, we would like to hear from you. For newly qualified Social Workers, we support the ASYE programme. NOTE: We are unable to support sponsorship visas. To arrange an informal discussion with Claire Beevers, contact 03000 213 900. In Return, ADS Offers:

Salary: £25,397 - £30,991 depending on experience. Generous annual leave: 29 days per annum, rising to 31 after 2 years and 34 after 5 years, plus Public Holidays. Health Scheme Training opportunities in line with the personalised learning and development plan. Joining ADS at a time of exciting and fast-growing change. Working at ADS is more than a job; it’s an investment of time to make a difference in the lives of people with substance misuse issues and their families. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. The ADS is an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity. We promote fair and equal treatment of potential and existing employees and service users.
