Woodland Veterinary Centre, Liphook, Liphook, South East

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Animal Assistant to join our warm and supportive team at Woodlands Veterinary Centre. This role will primarily be based at our Liphook location, where you'll work alongside a part-time Registered Veterinary Nurse. Your responsibilities will include assisting with nurse clinics, helping to restrain pets during veterinary examinations, and supporting our front-of-house team in providing exceptional care to our wonderful clients. About Us

We are situated in the beautiful South Downs, a stone’s throw away from the coast and London, giving the best of both worlds. We have plenty of scope at the Liphook site to expand due to the size of the practice. Over the three sites we have lots of toys, including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, a multiparameter anaesthetic monitoring machine, blood pressure, microscope, in-house biochemistry and haematology blood machines, ultrasound with cardiac and abdominal probe, laser, ECG, endoscope, and tonometer. Team and Culture

We would confidently say one of our unique selling points is our team. If you are looking to join a warm and friendly team, then we would love to hear from you. We have an amazing team of Vets, Nurses, VCAs, and Front of House, all working together to achieve an excellent standard of care. We have a nurturing culture, with a high emphasis on learning and development. We encourage our team to pursue their passions in whatever form. We look after the residents of a local Cats Protection Adoption Centre, meaning there is not a week that goes by without a kitten cuddle. We are looking for a kind, considerate colleague who has high energy and a positive can-do attitude. You must be happy to use your initiative and manage time and resources effectively. You will have good interpersonal skills with a passion for all aspects of animal care and welfare. You will instinctively want to go the extra mile to provide the best care to your patients. You will be requested to work 40 hours each week, with start and finish times varying depending on the day. This may also include a Saturday morning once a month. Salary for the role is £23,878.40 per annum. In addition to a competitive salary, you will benefit from:
