What would my role be? Based in St Albans you will start life as a sales trainee, joining a well-established team of salespeople. Representing their range of timber products when speaking to clients, your role will largely involve dealing with existing customers (75%) with an additional element of hunting new business opportunities.
The aim of this graduate role is to progress you into a client-facing position, initially going on meetings with another member of the sales team before starting to lead them independently. You will be speaking with architects, building contractors, property developers and house builders. What is needed for the role? * You are hungry and ambitious to kick-start a sales career * You are confident, with the ability to speak to a range of clients * You are personable, a keen relationship builder * You are coachable, not expected to start with all the answers, you are keen to immerse yourself in all the training provided to flourish in your new role * You have a Drivers licence, In this role you will be combining a mixture of internal work and face to face with clients.
