JOB DESCRIPTION The position shall include but is not limited to: Preparation of correspondence and documents through audio typing and word processing Receiving and directing telephone calls Greeting clients on arrival and directing them to the appropriate fee earner Switchboard duties Maintaining diaries and making appointments when required Photocopying documents Outgoing post File management in accordance with Quality Procedures Manual, CQS and Lexcel requirements to include filing and other clerical duties Compliance with the SRA Code of Conduct and SRA Accounts Rules Ensure the confidentiality and security of all firm and client documentation and information To maintain high standards in the processing of client work, both in respect of professional standards and client care Liaising with clients and others in person and by telephone Any other duties which from time to time are required by the Firm CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Ideally, a candidate would have: A willingness to learn A desire to work in an office environment Strong organisational skills Excellent word processing skills and computer literacy Reliability Trustworthiness Able to work under pressure with minimal supervision Competitive salary based on experience, and statutory holiday entitlement.
