About Us

Our approach to area management is changing in South Tyneside. We are a forward-thinking Council that is developing innovative approaches to meet our challenges. Focusing on People, Place and Partnerships, this is a great time to join us. With our new Council Leadership and a recent service review, we are looking to improve the delivery of street cleansing services, area quality monitoring, and the development of local markets across the Borough. Our aim is to achieve excellent quality standards, to ensure that residents live in clean, green and connected communities where they feel safe. Joining us at this time will ensure that you are part of a team committed to making positive changes. As an organisation, we are fully committed to supporting our staff to grow and develop and will provide you with the opportunity to use your skills and learn new ones. About The Role

You will be responsible for contributing to the delivery of a high-quality, customer-focused area management service within the Borough. You will work alongside colleagues to provide administrative support to the Community Operations service and operational teams, including performance monitoring, maintaining databases, systems, and records used by the service. About You

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced individual with good organisational and communication skills. A keen eye for detail will be crucial to provide support to the teams, so that they can maintain an efficient and effective service. You will have previous experience in business administration and have experience of producing performance information and analysing data. For an informal discussion about the role, please contact Jayne Ingram, Neighbourhood Service Lead at

jayne.ingram@southtyneside.gov.uk . We offer an excellent benefits package, and further information is available here -

www.southtyneside.gov.uk/workinghere . Please note that if you apply for this role, all communication regarding your application will be sent to the email address that you have registered with North East Jobs. Please ensure you check your junk mail. Closing date: Noon, Thursday 2 January 2025.
