We have opportunities for experienced (plus 3yrs pq) social workers across our services in Assessment and Safeguarding. By choosing to join Liverpool, you will be joining a team who are supportive and welcoming and share a vision and the motivation to improve outcomes for the children and families of our city. We have a stable, permanent team manager and service manager group; you will be supported in your practice by your manager and receive regular reflective supervision. We have a good range of support services in Liverpool including a Family Group Conference Service, family support workers within teams and an extensive Early Help Offer to support the children and families of our city and the work you do.

We offer:

an initial 6-month minimum contract to create stability for our children and young people

up to £42 per hour ltd, based on experience

A 35-hour week

Hybrid working model, 3 days in Liverpool per week

Assessment service duty 1 in 7 weeks

A supportive team and manager

Regular supervision

ICT Kit and support

The city is well connected by rail and road and is easily accessible and commutable from nearly cities and towns. Please note that we will not accept any application from a social worker who has less than 3 years post-qualified experience for this position; they must also have completed their ASYE.
