An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a
Meat Inspector
to join the preparation team at Cranswick Gourmet Bacon, Sherburn. KEY ACTIVITIES: Carry out frequent product quality attribute checks in accordance with product specifications. Trained and signed off to the relevant customer specifications. To ensure safe product and customer specifications. To inspect the meat within all WIP areas daily to ensure that the meat supplied to the slicing hall is in the right condition to slice at the time required. Ensure that all paperwork in the area is completed correctly and handed into the relevant personnel. Undertake any other reasonable duties as and when required commensurate with the post that may be determined following consultation between yourself, Supervisor and Factory Manager. Assist in other departments if required. Ensuring that all information relevant to “preventative and protective measures” is passed to your subordinates. Hours of work: This shift follows a shift pattern of 3 on, 1 off - 3 on, 7 off from 6.15 am - 7 pm.
