TE Connectivity's Administrative Support Teams are responsible for office administration and daily clerical duties including basic schedule planning, travel arrangements, documentation, and file maintenance. Other responsibilities include scheduling conferences/meeting rooms and responding to general inquiries. They create and maintain office documentation and files and review drafts and finished internal/external communication documents. Provides administrative support to leadership and team member support as well as completes general office/clerical duties. Supports members of the leadership team with advanced calendar and onsite meeting/visitor support. Creates professional documents, presentations, org charts, business correspondence, and complex spreadsheets. Plans offsite and onsite meetings and coordinates event logistics as needed. Supports meetings by taking meeting minutes, following-up on tasks, maintaining files and proofreading. Reconciles time and expense reports. Coordinates recruitment and onboarding for contingent workforce. Provides support to the workforce to answer general HR questions regarding benefits, vacation, PTO, time/pay or related questions; refers the team member to the supervisor, HR Solutions Partner or HR Services for further guidance or support as required. Reconciles hours for the contingent and direct-hire workforce on a weekly/bi-weekly basis. Oversees the PTO/vacation request or correction documentation for the workforce. Supports the HR Solutions Partner and leadership team with employee engagement events/activities. What your background should look like:

Qualifications: Experienced administrative assistant in general office administration/clerical duties. Adept in providing professional documents, presentations, org charts, business correspondence, and complex spreadsheets. Skilled in project management, planning off and on-site meetings and coordinating event logistics. Is a self-starter who can support a large team, working efficiently and professionally in a fast-paced environment. Preferred three years of experience. Associates Degree or higher in business related field preferred. Advanced Microsoft Office Suite Skills (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) with 70+ wpm on keyboard and advanced working proficiency with SharePoint, Teams, and video conferencing tools. Superior verbal and writing skills, meeting, and event planning skills. Excellent organization skills with attention to detail, cost savings, and process improvement.
