Responsibilities
Managing a portfolio of self-assessment tax clients including personal tax clients and partnerships. Providing advisory services relating to Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, and Estate planning. Preparing various tax forms, including but not limited to P11Ds, PSA, ATEDs, and elections for clients where required. Communicating effectively with colleagues, clients, and HMRC over the phone, through email, and in writing if required. Supervising and mentoring junior tax staff. Meeting with potential new clients and assisting with client onboarding.
Requirements
You will be AAT or ATT qualified, or qualified by experience with at least 3 years of experience working within an accountancy practice environment or personal tax position.
You will have experience of preparing tax returns for Manager or Partner review and have experience of relevant tax computation software.
