We are delighted to share that a new position has arisen for a Category Planning Manager on Beauty & Personal Care.

Beauty and Personal Care is a strategic priority for Tesco. A high profit, long term growth potential category. As Category Planning Manager, you will lead our sell strategy. This includes managing strategic projects, leading trade planning, category insight, store / omnichannel / comms team engagement / retail media engagement.

You will be responsible for

Leading the trade strategy and plan making sure we consistently win market share. Leading strategic change projects, including managing natural work teams, budgeting and reporting. Collaborating with team to create a long term category strategy that delivers sustainable customer share / profit growth. Collating and curating the best category insight from industry experts to help team to make winning decisions. Managing image coverage online and overseeing product data quality (taxonomy, search terms etc.). Ensuring team meets Customer / Commercial Policies in line with internal and legal standards. Defining the category trade plan to deliver a great offer for our customers in line with feature space principles. Delivering customer-facing activity across all channels (range reviews, promotions and events) to critical path. Adhering to all Tesco policies, storage and handover protocols and successfully completing all training so that there are zero GSCOP breaches. Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence. Ensuring all supplier agreements are recorded in writing, reporting GSCOP complaints to Legal within 48 hours of receipt.

You will need Experience in Buying / Category Planning / Commercial Strategy Programme Management / Project Management with relevant data / insight experience
