www.necsws.com Job Description The Product Manager will be responsible for managing a set of software products from ideation through to sale within our Health Division. You will be extremely customer focused in all that you do. Our technology is all about improvement - and if you have experience in managing products that improve healthcare - this role is for you. What you will do - why you will love this role: Be the voice of our customers - consult and coordinate/undertake research to understand what their needs are now and will be in the future. Listen to feedback. Research the competitive landscape across Healthcare to develop propositions unique and competitive to the marketplace. Strive to continually improve the customer experience. Define the products, maximising revenue opportunities. Take ownership of the pricing model for each solution. Assist with bid responses and other procurement activities. Serve as a subject matter expert for questions and queries that may arise internally or externally. Create a roadmap to execute product strategy. Run user groups, liaise with relevant agencies, professional bodies and policy units. Define and manage the scope and relative priorities of projects. Create detailed functionality documentation to support product training, sales collateral and marketing campaigns. Work in collaboration with clinical teams, digital leads and user communities to convert accurate user stories into product features and enhancements. What will enable you to succeed in this role: A passion for improving services for the public. Flexibility - you will wear many hats in this role so you must be able to adapt to changing priorities and a great variety of work. Strong decision making - you will be able to make tough decisions in the best interests of the product, customer and company. Commercial awareness. Able to conduct accurate return on investment (ROI) calculations. You understand the market. You can build business cases. Strong prioritisation skills - you understand and can implement the principle of Minimum Viable Product (MVP). A sense of ownership. We work as a team and we ensure that issues don't fall into the gaps between disciplines. Excellent research skills. Research competitors, markets, customers, requirements and use it to inform the very best product strategies that lead to market leadership and commercial growth. Leadership skills - product managers need to positively influence the whole lifecycle. Communication skills - essential for the role. Qualifications Essential: Demonstrable experience working as a Product Manager is required. Clear experience and understanding of software based products within the Health Industry. Experienced with Agile working. A good working knowledge of at least one of the following; Primary, Secondary or Acute Care settings. Demonstrable research skills - experience with the research of competitors, markets, customers, requirements and use it to inform the very best product strategies that lead to market leadership and commercial growth. Full and valid UK/EC driving licence - there will be travel to client sites involved in this role. Advanced MS Office skills. Desirable: An enthusiasm for the use of technology in improving healthcare. Personal Skills: Self reliant requiring minimal direction but with strong team player capabilities. Excellent written & verbal communication skills. Ability to deliver in a fast-moving environment with changing priorities. Strong interpersonal/team skills. Highly self-motivated with excellent time management and prioritisation skills, with a proven ability to work to deadlines. Ability and desire to deliver an excellent level of customer service. Effective relationship builder, developing strong working relationships with customers, relevant agencies and individuals within the business. Undaunted when encountering problems or challenges and keen to determine a solution. Organised.
