Job Description Implement effective procurement strategies Manage the buying for multiple sites, in-line with forecasted demand Manage Weekly/Monthly inventory reports to inform the site and board of current position Identify cost-saving opportunities in the supply chain Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure optimal terms Ensure the quality of products and services from suppliers Manage supplier NCRs where applicable Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain business continuity and improve pricing Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand and manage inventory Oversee risk management in the supply chain across the group Champion and drive the group vision on our path to excellence Support team members with development and growth The Successful Applicant A successful 'Senior Buyer' should have: Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management Proven experience in the management and utilization of inventory reporting Strong knowledge of the manufacturing sector (MOMs & BOMs) Exceptional negotiation skills and a strategic mindset Proficiency in risk management and market dynamics Excellent communication and leadership skills Excellent Excel skills What's on Offer An estimated salary range of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum Company car or car allowance A supportive team culture that encourages continuous learning The opportunity to work within an evolving business to create and implement processes The opportunity to drive the implementation of industry-standard purchasing strategies and processes to drive efficiency and consistency across our operations.
