We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Registered Head Veterinary Nurse to lead our team across three Inverness practices. In this pivotal role, you will oversee nurse consultations, theatre nursing, and inpatient care, while managing a team of veterinary care assistants and a dispensary assistant. With a focus on empowering your colleagues and optimising operational efficiency, you will play a key role in fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within the nursing department. Responsibilities

Supervise and mentor veterinary care assistants, ensuring optimal utilisation of resources and adherence to best practices. Oversee rota management, holiday scheduling, and performance appraisals for nursing staff. Maintain high standards of infection prevention and control, in line with regulatory requirements. Facilitate regular team meetings and training sessions to promote collaboration and professional development. Manage inventory and stock control processes, liaising with suppliers as necessary to ensure adequate supplies. Implement and monitor improvements in working practices to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction. About Crown Vets
