Essential Requirements:

Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months

Fluent in English

Excellent Verbal Communication skills

Desirable Requirements:

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent (or willingness to study towards)

Experience in a similar role is preferred

About the Role: We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join the team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs in our residential homes.

Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day care and support to young people in residential homes.

Ensure smooth operations of the home, including helping with homework, planning activities, and completing paperwork.

Create a positive and nurturing environment for young people to thrive.

The residential homes accommodate young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs, aiming to create the best possible outcomes for each individual in our care. The dedicated support workers are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our young people, celebrating even the smallest victories along the way.

Benefits and Incentives:

Salary : Base salary of £26,844 - £33,012

Bonuses : In addition to your base salary you’ll do 1-2 sleep ins per month, these are paid at £80 per sleep (approx. £1,760 per year) and £1,400 Attendance Allowance – assuming good attendance, £1,000 Welcome Bonus - on successful completion of probation & £1,000 Loyalty Bonus (after 12 months of employment)

Holiday : 7 weeks’ holiday
