Personal Care Assistant for a young woman P/T 13 or 23.5 hours @£14.30/hour in YO32
We are looking to expand our team of carers and are looking to recruit 2 carers for the following hours:
Saturday 8am to 4pm
Sunday 9.30am to 2.30pm.
There is also the option for a fortnightly Rota for a Wednesday/Thursday 7.30am to 6pm. Extra hours may be available to cover holiday/sickness if required.
Contracted hours of 13/23.5 hours @£14.30ph.
Female applicants only due to personal care requirements.
We seek reliable and friendly carers to support a happy young woman with learning disabilities in her active social life at a 2:1 ratio. Responsibilities include personal care, moving and handling, assistance with eating and drinking, and accessing her local community for outings. Individuals must be physically able and willing to push a wheelchair and assist with moving and handling procedures.
Our daughter enjoys walks around the park, visiting gardens, and going on days out. She will require full support with personal care, moving and handling, PEG feeds, and eating and drinking.
Experience is not essential as all training will be provided. Due to the semi-rural location, a car driver may be advisable but is not essential.
