Role Overview:

As a Flexible Care Worker at Apt Care Options, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients in different settings, including Care Homes, Private Residences, and Hospitals. Your role will involve providing personalized care and support to individuals, helping them maintain their independence and dignity. Whether it's assisting with daily activities, offering companionship, or providing specialized care, your work will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you support.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.

Support clients with mobility and physical activities.

Provide companionship and emotional support.

Help with meal preparation and household tasks.

Administer medication as needed, following appropriate training and guidelines.

Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Maintain accurate records of care provided.

Follow individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each client.

Job Requirements:

Caring Nature:

A genuine desire to help others and make a positive difference in their lives.

Flexibility:

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of our clients.

Experience:

Previous experience in a care role is beneficial but not essential; we provide comprehensive training.

Communication Skills:

Ability to communicate clearly and kindly with clients, families, and team members.

Reliability:

Dependable and committed to delivering consistent, high-quality care.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and supporting clients with mobility.

Empathy:

Understanding and compassionate, with a focus on treating every client with dignity and respect.

Driving License:

A valid driver's license is preferred but not required for all roles.

Clearance:

Enhanced DBS check required (we can assist with this).
