37 hours Mon-Friday Minimum Requirements: Ability to gain SC clearance Minimum of 3 years experience as a health physics monitor City and Guilds level 1 Radiation Protection or NVQ level 2 in Radiation Protection Ideally applicants should also have: IOSH working safely certificate Role Responsibilities: Carry out radiological protection monitoring Measure radiation doses and contamination levels Provide protection advice to facility operators Produce survey sheets, reports and data presentations Identify trends to detect areas for improvement Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements Report any areas of concern to the relevant parties Provide emergency responses for health physics related matters All candidates must be eligible and able to obtain SC Clearance, ideally candidates will already hold this.
