Glaven Ward are excited to recruit a Band 4 Assistant Practitioner or Nursing Associate to join the team on a permanent basis.
We are a forward-thinking and flexible team, looking to do things differently.
While some roles and responsibilities can only be carried out by a Registered Nurse, we aim to develop the role of an Assistant Practitioner or Nursing Associate to enable participation in a wider range of opportunities. This includes attending inpatient reviews, completing relevant documentation such as clinical notes and risk assessments (under the supervision of a Registered Nurse), and medication administration following completion of training and competency assessment. You would also be involved in change management projects such as quality improvement. You will support the Registered Nurses with day-to-day activities and provide support to service users throughout their inpatient journey.

Glaven Ward is an all-male unit based on the Hellesdon Hospital Site in Norwich. The role entails supporting the team in collaboratively assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating care for those we are privileged to look after.
