Are you happy to provide care to individuals who need active support to live as independently as possible, usually in their own homes, and to partake in the activities of their everyday life? If so, this could be a rewarding role for you, that comes with training, as required. Job Role & Responsibilities
Mostly helping in the home Social and recreational activities, accompanying clients to appointments Shopping trips and light domestic duties Assisting with personal care, washing, bathing, toileting and dressing Meal preparation and monitoring fluids and food eaten Administering medication Safe moving and positioning procedures, using hoists, stand aids etc. Observe, monitor and record clients’ physical and emotional well-being, and promptly report any changes to senior staff
Hours & Pay Most common shift pattern: 0730-1300 and/or 1630–2100 Shifts may vary slightly but are for a set amount of time Applicants would need to commit to covering a whole shift Full-time roles available 3-month contract minimum Pay at £10+ per hour Personal car expenses covered at 45p per mile Immediate start
Nice-to-haves It would be advantageous if you can drive and have access to a vehicle to travel to clients' homes - but this is not essential If you do not drive, we would still like to hear from you, as other shifts are also available Please be prepared to undertake Care Certificate training (or share certificate if already completed) While moving and handling training is good to have, training will be provided if required
Other Successful applicants will be DBS checked and be asked to submit two references You will be supplied with full PPE; including uniforms, gloves, aprons, visors and also a supply of PCR tests
