is seeking a dedicated and compassionate

Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant

to join their supportive team on a full-time, fixed-term basis. The successful candidate will work closely with a student on a one-to-one basis while also supporting the class teacher to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Located in the heart of Ealing, this school is known for its high standards, innovative teaching approaches, and commitment to the holistic development of every child. Responsibilities and Duties Provide one-to-one support for a pupil with additional learning needs, including Autism, ADHD, or other developmental challenges. Collaborate with the class teacher to adapt learning materials and activities to meet the pupil’s individual needs. Facilitate the pupil's social integration and engagement with peers during group activities. Observe and monitor the pupil's progress, providing regular feedback to the class teacher, SENCO, and parents. Support the class as a whole by helping to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Uphold the school's safeguarding and child protection policies, ensuring the well-being of all students. Qualifications and Skills Essential: Experience working with children with SEN in a school or childcare setting. Strong understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other learning difficulties. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with children. A collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team. Desirable:

Relevant qualifications in education or child development (e.g., Level 3 Teaching Assistant Diploma). Knowledge of behavior management strategies.
