Pharmacy teams based in primary care play a key role in the delivery of the NHS long term plan and medicines optimisation goals. NHS Devon has, for many years, recognised the value of having both pharmacists and pharmacy technicians supporting GP practices, so there is an expectation that this post holder will build relationships and work closely with Primary Care Networks and their pharmacists, as well as other system colleagues to support the delivery of national and locally agreed medicines optimisation priorities. Qualifications
Educated to masters' level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level in specialist area Member of relevant professional body - Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) Evidence of post qualifying and continued professional development Extensive knowledge of specialist areas, acquired through post graduate diploma or equivalent experience or training plus further specialist knowledge or experience to master's level equivalent Experience
Experience of co-ordinating projects in complex and challenging environments An understanding of the relationship between NHS organisations and wider system, regional and national organisations Experience of managing risks and reporting Experience of monitoring budgets and business planning processes Skills & Attributes
