About the Role: We’re recruiting experienced Practice Nurses to support a well-established and friendly GP surgery in Shrewsbury, conveniently located near the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. This locum opportunity is available throughout January to March, providing flexibility and competitive pay to support with QOF duties during the busy New Year period. Key Responsibilities: Undertake QOF-related duties Deliver high-quality patient care and ensure accurate record-keeping. Administer vaccinations, including childhood, travel, and flu immunisations. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care. Conduct cervical smear tests as part of the national screening program. Offer lifestyle advice, including smoking cessation and dietary guidance. Dates and Hours: • Available shifts: Any Monday–Friday in February and March. • Preference for full-day availability, but part-day shifts may be accommodated. Requirements: NMC registered with experience as a Practice Nurse in a primary care setting. Competency in cervical cytology, chronic disease management, and vaccinations/immunisations.
