About the role : CBTax is on the lookout for an Associate Director to join our brand-new Manchester & Dublin office and play a key role in our continued growth. As an Associate Director, you will drive CBTax’s market presence and support the origination of new business opportunities. You will take responsibility for innovative client delivery, excel in thought leadership, and manage projects and work streams for client delivery. You will work closely with the Delivery Director, Managers, and C-Suite to successfully deliver work and grow the business in the UK. In this role, you'll : Develop CBTax’s market presence and drive new business opportunities through networking, strategic partnerships, and targeted marketing initiatives. Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to your team, ensuring they have the knowledge and tools needed to excel. Oversee project deliverables, ensuring they meet high standards and are completed on time. Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement innovative tax strategies. Manage client relationships and provide insightful, strategic tax solutions. Prepare and review complex tax documents, identify opportunities for tax savings, and provide strategic tax advice. Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement. We're seeking someone with experience including : Significant experience in corporate tax, with a proven track record of managing and delivering large-scale projects. Experience in client portfolio management and business development, with the ability to identify new opportunities and cultivate client relationships. Strong leadership skills, with experience mentoring and inspiring teams. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex tax issues clearly to clients and colleagues. A thorough understanding of current tax legislation and its practical application, with an ability to stay updated on ongoing changes. Strategic thinking capabilities, with a focus on providing innovative solutions to complex tax problems.
