To be considered for this position, you must hold a relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate the implementation of individual treatment plans for occupational therapy services, ensuring treatments, activities, and interventions are delivered through effective application and communication. Receive and respond promptly to referrals, undertaking patient assessments to identify and prioritize patient needs before planning and delivering the appropriate and relevant interventions either on an individual or group basis. Maintain accurate and timely records detailing each patient's rehabilitation/progress. Ensure the effective and efficient management of more junior staff. Maintain and develop close working relationships with professional and clinical colleagues within the multi-disciplinary team, ensuring clinical practice is in line with policies and procedures and complies with statutory regulations and quality standards. Contribute to business growth by actively promoting therapy services in line with the local unit's business plan. Maintain effective communication links with patients, relatives, carers, and purchasers throughout the patient's rehabilitation. Lead on implementation of new services within own site, sharing best practices with other sites in the area. Ensure the services and support provided offer good value for money and support the overall aim of the site.

Strong personal organizational skills and effective communication abilities. Experience working with secure and/or acute environments. Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice. Able to show a can-do attitude.
The successful Occupational Therapist will receive an excellent salary of GBP28,494.40 per annum. This exciting position is a part-time role working 30 hours a week.
