£27,040 + £50 per sleep-in I am looking for a Senior Residential Support Worker to support children and young people in a fantastic residential home for children and young people in Derby. In the role of Senior Support Worker you will: Be responsible for providing day-to-day care for children and young people. Work as part of a dedicated team, ensuring that care teams maintain their therapeutic approach and provide direct work with the children. Lead shifts and manage a staff team. Assist in leading staff to operate within legal parameters. Ensure the home is kept to a good standard, including cooking, cleaning, and safeguarding welfare at all times. Support the business, clinical, and social development of the service. To be successful in the role of Senior Support Worker you must have: NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent). Experience of working with young people who have challenging behaviours. Experience of leading shifts. Experience of supervising care staff. The ability to work to a rota, including days, sleep-ins, weekends, and statutory holidays. A full UK Manual driving licence. Further incentives: Pay increases take place twice a year.
