Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with SLD. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes communication, independence, and emotional well-being. Assess, monitor, and record progress, adapting teaching methods to ensure each student's Individual Education Plan (IEP) targets are met. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and other specialists to provide holistic support for students. Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals to support students' development both inside and outside the classroom. Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement, in line with the school's ethos and policies. Qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) or Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are passionate about SEN. Teachers from mainstream settings who are eager to transition into special education and learn new approaches. Experienced SEN teachers looking for a fresh and rewarding challenge. Ideal Candidate
