An opportunity has arisen to join the leadership team at East Surrey Hospital as Occupational Therapy Team Lead in Acute Medicine. The highly motivated and dynamic acute medical team is a well-established integrated multidisciplinary team and respected within the hospital. The Team is committed to providing high quality and effective therapy assessment and treatment to our patients in the acute medical wards. We are looking for a team lead who is forward-thinking, innovative and flexible and has depth of knowledge and experience of Occupational Therapy assessment and interventions with a wide range of medical conditions, elderly care and equipment provision. You will be responsible for day-to-day management of the service delivery and manage a complex caseload. You will have experience in supervising staff and be an accredited practice placement educator. Main duties of the job

You will also demonstrate a strong commitment to a person-centred approach in line with the Trust Values and Behaviours.
