Sue Ryder Dee View Court is looking for Registered nurses to join the team at Scotland’s only purpose built Neurological care centre, Dee View Court.

About us Our purpose-built, specialist Neurological Care Centre, Dee View Court is based in Kincorth, Aberdeen. We care for people aged 18 and over with a range of neurological conditions that get worse over time – such as Huntington’s disease, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson’s disease – as well as those with conditions resulting from a brain or spinal injury or stroke. Our purpose is to provide our residents with the tools they need to optimise their independence and support their physical, emotional and social needs.

About the role: You will be part of an expert team who focus on health, wellbeing and what each person can do, not what they can’t. We support people to live their lives as fully as possible. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of high standards of personalised nursing care for our residents. Our RNs lead the care team in providing the best possible quality care and support to service users and their carers/family.

About you: This role is perfect for experienced Registered Nurses that hold current NMC registration and who are looking to extend their skills and learning in a supportive and specialist environment.

Benefits • Enhanced pay for unsociable hours • Company pension scheme • 27 days holiday - rising to 33 with length of service plus bank holidays • Enhanced maternity and paternity pay • Enhanced sick pay • Employee Networks - LGBTQ+, Ethnic Diversity and Equality, People with Disabilities, and Women and Non Binary Individuals • Staff discount of 10% on new goods online at shop.sueryder.org • Structured induction programme and learning and development opportunities.

For more of our employee benefits please visit our website.

We actively encourage applications from people from all backgrounds to help us to provide the best possible experience for the people who use our services and continue to make Sue Ryder a great place to work, and attract and recruit the best, most diverse workforce possible. We are particularly interested in increasing applications from the global majority, LGBTQIA+ and people with disabilities as they are currently underrepresented in our organisation.

Please let us know if you have any feedback to make our recruitment processes more accessible and inclusive or if you require any adjustments made to your application or interview process by emailing recruitment@sueryder.org

If you want more than just a job, we want you. Join the team and be there when it matters. Subject to PVG

Later this year Care Concern Group will take over the ownership of Dee View Court, Aberdeen and all staff employed by Sue Ryder at that service will transfer to the Care Concern Group. Within the Care Concern Group is a specialist division providing care to residents living with complex physical and/or mental health needs including residents living with neurological conditions similar to the residents that are supported at Dee View Court.
