Qualifications
Be a registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Have a post-graduate diploma or degree for Advanced Practice Qualification. Have a masters degree in the relevant area of expertise. Is working at a masters degree or equivalent that encompasses the four pillars of clinical practice, leadership and management, education and research, with demonstration of core capabilities and area specific clinical competencies. Be a qualified independent nurse prescriber, on the NMC register. Experience
Have the ability to work within own scope of practice and understand when to refer to a GP. Have the ability to problem solve. Have knowledge of health promotion strategies. Understand the requirement for PGDs and associated policy. Be motivated and a forward-thinker. Be sensitive and empathetic in distressing situations.
